The Wave Is Building

Additional energy was added tonight to the wave of public sentiment that is building against Washington. The wave is higher now and beginning to pick up speed. As more energy is added over the course of 2010, I predict that the wave will be an overwhelming tsunami by November.

There is something that Progressives, like our President, can do to help mitigate the groundswell of support for Conservatives and that is to move to a more moderate stance.

However, if the attitude in Washington continues its arrogant tone and politicians continue to ignore the will of the American public, heads will roll in November. Based on a continuance of the building wave, let me be the first to predict that Nancy Pelosi will be unseated in her secure district in San Francisco, CA. If the Democrats in MA can send the message to the White House, so can their brethren in the Golden State. What needs to happen is that a Conservative Independent or Republican needs to get in there and take a page from the Scott Brown's playbook.

Over the course of 2010, no matter what the poll numbers say, the American people can have hope that hopeless elections will be turned around and incumbents or supporters of Obama-care will be defeated. Thank you, Scott Brown. You have brought the grassroots movement of taking back our government to the forefront. You have settled the argument once and for all that, yes, Virginia, the American people are as mad as hell and we're not going to take it any more. This ain't your father's astroturf. This is the real deal.

I highly suggest that you get personally involved during 2010. Personally, I don't want to work within the Republican party as I think that our two-party system is badly broken. I am going to see if I can find an Independent candidate to get behind, contribute to and actively support.

Scott Brown set the standard. Discuss the issues that people are concerned about not the issues that Washington is concerned about. The Economy and Jobs are the #1 concern of the American people right now. Discuss with voters how you, as a candidate, will work on stimulating business to create jobs. Promise to stop the crazy spending in Washington. Take a pledge of integrity to stop corruption in Washington. Talk about the value term limits in keeping our government fresh with new minds and new ideas. Also, how term limits will stop the attitude of entitlement that is pervasive in Washington. Owe nothing to anyone except the American people.

By completely replacing the House and ousting the incumbent Senators that are up for re-election in this off year, we can change the course of our nation. Let us put in place people who understand the value of shrinking government and returning to our Federal Republic as designed by our Founding Fathers.

Good night America. Hope, real hope, is on the way for getting back our country.
