Yes, it's true. I am white and a racist. I race to a number of places during the day. I race against time to accomplish what I need to accomplish. I race against the progressive movement in this country that would enslave us all in socialism or communism. I will race to the polls in November to vote every incumbent in Congress out of office. Yes, I race a lot.
Oh, you thought I meant the hate mongering "racist". No way, Jose! I am a child of the 60's. The boomer generation had racism beat out of us during the Civil Rights Movement. Almost everyone in my generation and the following generations is color blind. Shoot, 53% of Americans just elected a non-Caucasian President in 2008. Come on, you can't be serious thinking we could possibly be that kind of "racist". That's just crazy talk.
Sure, as always, there remains a small, all-white, micro-minority or idiots who think that Hitler was a great guy or have a fetish for wearing sheets and burning crosses but that's the far, far extreme. 90% of Americans do not care what color your skin is and I am one of them. Particularly, Christians cannot be "racist" because we are to love everyone as we love ourselves. Hey, it's a commandment. So, no, I would not qualify for that kind of "racist".
Besides, real "racists" do things like accuse others of racism without any proof in an attempt to manipulate them. They use hyphenated names to describe themselves like African-American or Mexican-American or Asian-American and emphasize the fact that they are racially different. They are purposely divisive in using these names or use words like "Negro" (you do realize that the n-word is just slang for Negro, right?) or "Colored People" in the title of their organizations. Their purpose is to make sure Americans are not united.
There are no hyphenated Americans. We are all one nation under God. We are a melting pot. Each legal immigrant should contribute their flavor to the blend that is America. Like a Starbucks Frappucino® Blended Beverage, we should be fused into a nation with a single purpose. Our culture is unique because of all of the individuals who contribute to it. Yet it is our culture, the American culture. It belongs to every one of us.
Those who will not blend into our culture should go back to where they came from rather than seek citizenship. Those who will continue to point out skin color and emphasize that difference in order to divide us should be ignored.
There is no racial diversity in American, only racial fusion. That is not to say that we should not celebrate the racial heritages that blend into this great nation. Just like you list the ingredients in a recipe, our different heritages should only be listed when providing a formula for other nations to follow when they are seeking their freedom.
As has been said, "United we stand, divided we fall". Let us all stand united as Americans and reject labels and people who would divide us. Color blindness, where race is concerned, produces peace. Dr. King taught us that and so did Jesus.
Unfortunately, our current administration does not see it this way. They and their supporters continue to hurl false accusations of racism at those who disagree with the President's policies. Just last night I heard someone claim that this summer of building anger in the American public was all about white people suddenly waking up and realizing that they had elected a non-white person to the White House. You can't be serious! Yet this is but another example of how stupid Progressives think the American public is. If we won't behave as they want or go along with their policies, they attempt to explain it away and shame us into submission. Well, wake up Progressives, we're Americans and we're FREE. We have a brain and know how to use it. It is ironic that Progressives want us to mindlessly go along with them while claiming that we should think for ourselves and not be slaves to Glenn Beck. Yet they become upset when we do think for ourselves and disagree with what they are doing. Weird.
By the way, we do not have a Black President. We do not have an African-American President or a mixed-race President even though his mother was Caucasian and his father Nigerian. We have an American President (assuming he actually was born in Hawaii as he claims).
Let's send the largest anti-racism message in history by voting everyone out of office this November who ever even hinted that Americans are racist. I don't know about you but I detest being falsely accused. Makes me want to race to the polls right now.

Regarding Obama - it does not matter where he was born. His mother was a U.S. citizen, and therefore he automatically is one too.
ReplyDeleteHere is what the law says according to Wikipedia:
ReplyDeleteJus sanguinis
Under certain circumstances, US citizenship can be acquired via jus sanguinis from one's parents. The following conditions affect children born outside the US and its outlying possessions to married parents (special conditions affect children born out of wedlock: see below):
* If both parents are US citizens, the child is a citizen if either of the parents has ever lived in the US prior to the child's birth
* If one parent is a US citizen and the other parent is a US national, the child is a citizen if the US citizen parent has lived in the US for a continuous period of at least one year prior to the child's birth
* If one parent is a US citizen and the other parent is not, the child is a citizen if
o the US citizen parent has been "physically present"[8] in the US before the child's birth for a total period of at least five years, and
o at least two of those five years were after the US citizen parent's fourteenth birthday.
He is a citizen assuming the conditions listed here for one parent being a US Citizen were fulfilled. Personally, I don't know if they were or not. If they were, it does render the birth certificate issue moot. However, since his mother left the country at least once, it would be interesting to see a time line of when she was in the country and when she was not. It would certainly put the issue to rest once and for all.
