Freedom Is Not Free

Currently I am sitting in a Starbucks in Hillsboro, TX sipping a Tazo Tea Chai Latte and getting free Internet while my wife shops at the Outlet Mall next door. Wonder how many folks in Marxist/Communist countries can:
  1. Travel to another city without restrictions
  2. Have the freedom to post blogs without government intervention
  3. Enjoy the wealth of Starbucks outlets we have with comfort and convenience
  4. Attend a fun wedding like we did last night without fear
  5. Pray as we did last night at the wedding in the name of Jesus without retribution or censorship
Man, I love democracy and capitalism and the life here in America they provide us.

So, that begs the question for Marxists (and any others opposed to democracy and/or capitalism), "Just how would your system of government and economic system improve upon our situation as Americans?" Any takers? The definitive answer is that these other systems of government and economy CANNOT improve what our founding fathers set up. They were one smart bunch of dudes.

Now, that is not to say that improvements in our governmental and economic systems are not needed. Indeed they are. However, a complete change of the basic systems is not warranted. What is wrong with these people who want to "fundamentally transform" America? Well, that is an easy one. They want all the power now residing with the people of this country consolidated into their hands.

There is an old saying about human nature that is at work here and in the Obama
White House. "Absolute power corrupts absolutely". I don't know who said it but it is as true as the day is long. A person in charge without accountability will become corrupted. No one is exempt from this rule of human nature. We have seen it play out in history time after time. This is why there is no transparency at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. They are all corrupt already and just want to consolidate their power.

No one can argue that accountability is almost non-existent in Washington. We need representatives who believe they are serving the people who elected them. Way too many members of Congress believe that they are smarter than their constituents and that they are somehow entitled to their position of power. They forget that the power is on loan from us, the American people. We need to retain that power or we will end up with a Dictatorship or some form of a Communist government.

Now, I'm trying to be fair here because people like Sam Johnson (my Congressman) are the exception to the rule instead of being the rule. Sam is a true American hero and listens to his constituency. He is humble, fair and honest. How many are there in Congress like Sam? I don't know but it is obviously not enough. If there were, they would be calling arrogant prima donas like Speaker Pelosi on the carpet when they call Americans Nazis or brown-shirts. Shame on her. She should have been censured by the entire House in a non-partisan vote with no dissenters. I won't hold my breath for that one.

So what is Mr. Hope and Change offering us any way? Hope for what? Hope we won't notice as he pulls a fast one on us? We've already seen the "Change" our President and his associates want. They want to "fundamentally transform" America. Into what? It's got to have something with Marxism. I mean either our President is an idiot or he's perfectly aware of the ideologies of the people who are his close advisors. Ya think? He knows exactly who they are and whole-heartedly endorses their points of view because he shares them. We're not stupid Mr. Obama. We know a skunk when we see one in spite of how you want to convince us that we are looking at a rhino. Smell something yet? Yup, it stinks.

Anyone want to venture a guess as to why the President seems to not want to focus on the #1 problem that Americans are concerned about? It's the economy stupid! Jobs and the economy. DUH! Health care needs work, granted, but it is not at the top of our list. However, to fix the economy, you have to work within our capitalistic system. If you already believe it is fundamentally evil and unfair then and were planning on replacing it with a supposedly fairer economic system that will "redistribute the wealth" (oooh, can you say Marxist/communist here?) you NATURALLY would ignore the problem until you can get your changes in place. Allow the current system to collapse on it's own. Regulate it to death, take over businesses under the guise of "BAILOUTS" because some companies are just "too big" to be allowed to fail. Tax all those evil profits.

A friend wrote to me on Facebook recently and commented that, although he does not agree with everything I write in this blog he finds my musings mentally stimulating. I hope that is true of everyone who reads these blog entries. My intent here is to stimulate people to think about what is going on in Washington and how that is affecting our country.

I began this blog entry talking about freedoms. As the title says, our freedoms are not free. They have come at great price. Much American blood has been spilled to ensure them. We should value our freedoms more than gold. And there should be a vicious fight when someone attempts to deprive us of any of these freedoms.

Our government is intending to do just that, deprive us of our freedoms. Freedom of speech, freedom to pursue life, liberty and happiness. If our economic system is ruined and then "transformed" into something other than capitalism, we will lose those freedoms. If our govenmental system is "transformed" into a Marxist regime, we will lose our freedoms. We have thrived for over 200 years BECAUSE of our democracy and capitalism. Today's technology and ease of lifestyle owes everything to these pillars of America. Do not allow a bunch of elitists in Washington to "fundamentally transform" us into Cuba or China or, God forbid, North Korea. Only democracy and capitalism in combination with each other will keep us free and prosperous. Yes, there is work to be done but cutting down the pillars of America can only do one thing, collapse our society.

Hence the need to replace the Marxists and seditionists in Washington with REAL Americans. And the 2010 election is an optimal time to do it. How will you help? Will you help? It won't happen without you being involved. Run for office, actively campaign, blog your fingers off. Do something, I beg of you.

Definitely, comment on this blog and/or be a follower. Encourage me. Criticize me. Tell me you get a thrill up your leg each time you read my blog. In other words, give me feedback. All comments welcome, positive or negative. But post your comments here for others to read. You too be intellectually stimulating to American.

Good night, America. God bless you with the sleep of those resting in His arms.

From Nothing Came Everything

Following on from my last post, all Marxists (true Marxists, that is) share many characteristics. Besides a common hatred of free enterprise, free speech and just about any type of personal liberty, Marxists are Atheists. They have to be by definition.

Yes, Karl Marx was among those intellectuals and brilliant people who believe that all that we see came from nothing. Sound like nonsense? Well, it is. Nothing cannot create something but that is exactly what the Big Bang Theory preaches. All the matter in the universe was compressed into a single dot and it exploded. And the dot was so small, it was virtually non-existent, nothing, if you will.

This all, of course, relates back to one of the founding fathers of Marxism, Charles Darwin. His book was a tremendous influence on Karl Marx and, consistent with Marxist principles, none of the 5 world Marxist regimes encourages freedom of religion. Imagine that. Atheists running the country not allowing freedom of religion. Amazing. Makes sense if you think about it.

Now Charles Darwin started out well enough. He had just graduated from Bible College when he went on his famous journey aboard The Beagle. However, Charlie was influenced by others of his day who denied a special Creation event by God Almighty. These "progressives" said that all we see took a long time to come into being and was self-directed. There was no overseeing force and, certainly, no God controlling everything.

There is a story I love to tell that is well documented about the father of modern science, Sir Isaac Newton. Few doubt that he was one of the greatest scientific minds to have ever lived. Did you know that Sir Isaac was a devout Christian and believed in a litteral 7-day creation? Probably not. The school books tend to leave out that juicy tidbit. Or that he wrote more Bible commentaries than he ever did scientific papers?

One day Sir Newton had delivered to him a working model of our solar system which he had commissioned from a master clock maker. When you turned the wheel, all the planets rotated around the sun in their proper orbits and the model planets were in the correct porportions in their distance from the sun. It was a marvel to behold. Upon it's delivery, Newton invited an atheist friend of his over to see it. The man was astounded. He examined the fine craftsmanship and the attention to detail with great awe. After a while, he could not contain himself and he had to ask Newton who had built such a magnificent model. "Well, no one built it", replied Newton. The atheist thought Newton had not heard him and repeated the question. Sir Isaac repeated his answer. The man became irritated that Newton was now responding as wished. He went on about the model and it's features and how it was obvious that it had been created by a person of great skill. Then Newton replied to his friend, "So you are convinced without seeing the craftsman that this fine machine had a designer and manufacturer and yet this is a mere representation of the magnificent original which you claim does not have any creator?" The atheist was without a reply. He knew Newton was right.

Creation is a no-brainer. It is intuitively obvious from everything that has been made. God's signature is on it all. Yet atheists refuse to see. Marxists are of this ilk as well. This means that we have a man in the White House who, in spite of his claims otherwise, does not believe that God really exists. Marxists do not believe in God because atheism is a natural outcome of the Theory of Evolution. Charles Darwin said as much and Richard Dawkins, numero uno atheist in the world, states this unequivocally. Darwinism leads to atheism. Pure and simple. Marxism is based on Darwinism so Marxists are therefore, by necessity, atheists. Our President and those surrounding him that claim to hold Marxist beliefs are atheists. What happened to "In God We Trust"?

Let this sink in. There are tremendous ramifications for our nation having atheists running a country founded on Christian principles by Christian men.

More tomorrow.

Good night America. In God I trust and I pray for our nation. Sleep secure.

Marxist, Marxist, Everywhere A Marxist

Does the name Van Jones ring a bell? The former White House Green Czar who slithered away in the middle of the night is now a vague memory and an article in the Fox News archives.

Van Jones was an avowed Marxist. Now, for those of you who were asleep in World History class, Marxism is named for Karl Marx. He is credited with coming up with this idea that we can all share equally (yes, communism is a logical result of Marxism) and that capitalism is a bad, bad thing. Capitalism (our present economic form) exploits workers and creates a class system according to old Karl. The owners get rich and the workers are not fairly compensated for their work. In fact, if the retail price of something is the value of the worker's work, then the employer is keeping the difference between what he pays the worker and what he charges for the product. We know that as PROFIT but Marxism sees it as EVIL. They believe that extra money should go to the worker.

Fellow White Houser Anita Dunn has praised Chairman Mao of China as one of the two political philosophers she looks to often. Mao, when he was in charge of killing off as many Chinese as possible, was an avid Marxist so one could conclude that Ms. Dunn does not think that being a Marxist is a bad thing. We might even stretch a point to say that she favors Marxists since she looks to them for guidance.

Our golden-boy president has also stated that he is a Marxist and bragged about hanging out with all the Marxist professors when he was in college. I have not heard him renounce that so one has to conclude that he still favors Marxism and communism over Democracy and capitalism.

Well, a Marxist White House causes a big problem for America. We are not a Marxist nation and do not have a communist form of economics driving this country. And Marxism seems to be historically linked with several very bad things by American freedom standards.

First off, Marxism is anti-capitalism. Now being a small business owner myself, I have a real problem with that. Marxist hold that only the government should run businesses because they will magnanimously equally distribute the wealth from the enterprises. Let's look at how that's working out for the Marxist countries (communist countries) of the world.

There are 5 Marxist (Communist run) countries in the world:
  • The People's Republic of China - Hey, there's a place I'd like to live (jk). How about you? Justice is swift and I'm sure those Chinese are rolling in dough from the "equal" distribution of wealth by the government. I mean, yea, it's a dictatorship and all and there's no freedoms found here like in America but, hey, it's Marxist through and through.
  • The Republic of Cuba - Well, we all know what a great guy Fidel Castro is. I mean, just look at the prosperity of the Cuban people. Not sure, with such a great system of government, why so many of them are trying to cross the Atlantic to get to Florida. It is a mystery.
  • The Democratic Republic of Korea - North Korea. Ya gotta love old Kim Jong Il. What a nutty character. Hey, they'll soon have nukes and be expanding their territory. I'm sure life there is easy, peasy, lemon-squeezy.
  • The Lao People's Democratic Republic - Laos to us Vietnam-era kiddos. No doubt that they are living in the lap of luxury thanks to the wonderful workings of communism. Not free but, hey, you have to pay a price for progress.
  • The Socialist Republic of Vietnam - Good old North Vietnam. Once again, I'm sure life is grand there.
So, there you have the A-list (and the only list) of the utopias created by Marxism. You got your bags packed yet? What? You don't want to live in these paradises created by Marxism? Is there something wrong?

Got your attention? So why do all these White House people want to make us a communist nation? Why do they hate capitalism? Why do they embrace and admire Marxism when it only leads to misery for 90% of the nation? Why is the news media not asking these questions (OK, with the exception of Fox)?

Obama and his cronies seem to be trying to do everything they can to stifle free enterprise. It is our free enterprise system which has made this country great and prosperous. Could there be another agenda? Could they be trying to set us up for a Dictatorship? In spite of their claims otherwise, all Marxist nations are basically dictatorships. Cruel dictatorships, I might add.

What makes this so attractive? Well, POWER is the answer. I believe that Barack Obama is going to attempt a power grab and to set up a dictatorship in America if he can get all the elements in place. If he destroys our economic system and collapses our currency, he can create a crisis big enough where he can declare our current form of government defunct and establish (via a coup or "revolution" in Marxist language) a dictatorship with him as the head. Think that's off the wall? It's happened before in other countries.

However, this is America and our history as a people is to fight to the death when our freedoms are threatened. Do you love your freedoms and rights? Do you love them enough to die defending them? You may be called on in the future to do just that.

This is just one of the many reasons why these people need to be voted out of office in 2010. The House and Representatives and Senate need to be taken over by the people of America. We need to create a revolution of our own in these governing bodies. Without control of Congress, Obama will be rendered impotent. With real Americans running things, he will be unable to carry out his agenda.

America, unite. Throw out any one in Congress with more than two terms. In fact, in this first round of cleansing, they all need to go. Get involved. Run for office. Help out with the Total Recall 2010 campaign. Spread the word. Send $$$$.

We need to take back our country from the hands of the Marxists.

Goodnight, America. Sleep well.

More Facts and Figures

Man, I am finding these stats on the 2010 elections fascinating and exciting.

Two Democrats that I think really need targeting to be removed from office are Harry Reid from NV and Nancy Pelosi of CA.

Reid already is getting nervous. A recent Rassmussen Poll has the republican challengers at 50% and Reid at 40%. I'm sure Harry is shaking in his boots. In fact, he's so nervous that he worked out a sweetheart deal on a recent bill amendment. The deal is that his state will not have to pay the increase in Medicaid costs for the next 5 years. Not bad for NV but bad for the other states. He's desperately trying to score points with the folks back home. He's vulnerable and he knows it. I enjoy seeing him sweat. The only down side? The challengers are both party-tied Republicans. If either of them was willing to eschew their partisanship for this election, America could win that seat in the Senate, not the Republicans.

Now don't get me wrong. I don't hate the Republican party. I just think that partisan politics is what has gotten us into this mess and more of the same will just muddy things further. We need Americans in office who are not affiliated with any political party or who are willing to leave their partisanship at the door when they enter Congress. Fat chance of that happening with Reps and Dems.

Nancy Pelosi is another story. She is from the 8th District of California. Right smack dab in the middle of Liberal USA, San Francisco, CA. Getting her displaced will be a challenge. However, there is hope. In the last election, Nancy only got 71.7% of the vote. The LOWEST percentage she's ever gotten in an election and she's been re-elected 9 times! Is it possible that the voters of SF are getting tired of Grande Dame Pelosi and her obnoxious superior attitude? I certainly hope so.

More good news. Both Pelosi and Reid have VERY unfavorable ratings. Pelosi has an unfavorable rating of 57% and Reid has one of 49% according to Rassmussen. Well, if 57% of voters don't like Pelosi, there is hope that we can get her unseated. She's supposed to be safe in this election. Let's show her that NO ONE IS SAFE.

So, I need people in Nevada to work on getting Harry Reid displaced and folks in San Fran helping to buy Ms. Pelosi a one-way ticket back to where she left her heart. Can you help?

There is nothing I would love more than to see both Reid and Pelosi go down in flames next November. Remember your weapon against oppression is your vote. Use your weapon wisely. Vote for an American, not a party-affiliated snob.

Good night America. I will be back with more soon.
